The CKC says there are 4 elements to choosing the right dog boot:

1︎) The material of the sole should be textured, with a good grip for traction.

2︎) Choose boots made from waterproof or water-resistant material.

3︎) The sole should be flexible so your dog can walk naturally.

4︎) Choose a boot with adjustable Velcro straps.
